Bespoke Designed Wax Hurricane Candle

We can add names, special dates, etc, whatever you'd like to make your bespoke hurricane candle perfect. We can design to any style, pattern, motif, etc so just let us know what you'd like. Hurricane candles are hollow on the inside with a base that contains a tea light holder. This turns the candle into a lantern which casts a beautiful warm glow when the tea light is lit. Perfect for brightening up a dark corner! They can be used indoors or outdoors and will last many many years, we have customers who're still using the same hurricane candle after 20 years!

Making hurricane candles out of wax and setting fabric designs inside is completely unique to On a Wick, having been developed by our founder Annie over 20 years ago. The complex process involves a mix of several types of waxes, heated and mixed to create the ideal house to hold the fabric in place while allowing the design to show through.
